Front Street Deli is set to relaunch at 77 S Front St. Led by Tony and Stephanie Westmoreland of local hospitality group Tandem Restaurant Partners, the historic deli will soon undergo a transformation.

Chef Duncan Aiken, who is also collaborating with Tandem on their upcoming Gangsta Fried Chicken concept, is now leading the Front Street Deli revival. Aiken’s revamped sandwich menu will feature house-made ingredients, including freshly baked bread.

Additionally, patrons can enjoy a quick-service pasta concept called Pasta Cosa Nostra, located within the same building. This build-your-own pasta concept was designed in collaboration with Nick Scott, the chef and owner of Alchemy.

Renovations are underway to update both the building and the outdoor space. New garage doors will enhance the street-side experience, blending nostalgia with modern flair. The updated space will accommodate around 10 to 15 guests, both indoors and outdoors.

Front Street Deli is expected to open in November 2023. However, Tony Westmoreland noted that the opening date might be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.

UPDATE: Front Street Deli and Pasta Cosa Nostra have officially opened.
