In addition to the recently opened Arlington coffeehouse, Belltower has locations on Highland St and at Shelby Farms Park. Originally conceived as a unique coffeehouse and pottery workshop, the flagship Belltower Coffeehouse & Studio made its debut in 2017 along the Highland Strip, later relocating just a few doors down in 2020.
In a recent conversation with Memphis Business Journal, Galbreath shared insights into Belltower’s expansion strategy, emphasizing his desire to take advantage of untapped areas.
“Memphis is a spread out town. One of the first things that we’ve done is look at the map of where other coffee shops are,” he explained. “We’re hoping that we can capitalize on where there are gaps in the market. Our entire focus is on being that third space for people. We’re not necessarily looking to be a destination as much as a comfortable space within your routine.”
Additionally, Galbreath revealed that he and Dempsey are exploring the possibility of franchising, which would further enable the coffee company to expand its reach.
Alongside its signature coffee beverages, Belltower offers tea, smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, and other small bites. The coffeehouse also features a selection of wine and champagne.
As Belltower Coffee continues to expand throughout Memphis and beyond, stay tuned for updates on new locations, as well as developments regarding franchising opportunities.
