According to its Google Business page and permits filed with Develop901, the fast-food spot is undergoing major electrical upgrades.

Representatives of Carrols Corporation, the franchisee behind this location, have not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Memphis, leaving the duration of the closure unclear.

With approximately 19,000 locations worldwide, Burger King is the second-largest fast-food hamburger chain. While the Whopper is the eatery’s signature item, the menu also includes chicken sandwiches, nuggets, pies, and more.

Syracuse, New York-based Carrols Corporation operates over 1,000 Burger King and Popeyes locations in the United States, including many in the Greater Memphis area.
