A popular fast-casual chicken chain will soon make its Cordova debut.
According to recent permits filed with Develop901, Chester’s Fried Chicken is coming to 2310 N Germantown Pkwy. Franchisee Rahim Umlani confirmed the news with What Now Memphis, adding that more information will be available this coming Monday.
Founded in 1965, Chester’s has expanded to over 1,200 locations nationwide, including three in Memphis. The Birmingham-based franchise is renowned for its double-breaded, “fried to perfection” chicken, featuring bone-in chicken, tenders, bites, sandwiches, and biscuits. The menu also includes fried gizzards, livers, classic country-style sides, and pies.
