The company’s newest location will move into a previously vacant lot that now has a Whataburger and Starbucks. This will be the company’s sixth location in the greater Memphis area, expected to open sometime next month. Chicken Salad Chick recently received a commercial mechanical permit for this location. Since founders Stacy and Kevin Brown launched the company, more than 280 locations have opened up throughout the United States.

Before the pandemic, Chicken Salad Chick had at least 12 locations in the state, with most company-owned, especially in the Memphis area. Since then, Chicken Salad Chick has exploded in Tennessee, with at least 22 locations throughout the state. When the new Arlington site opens, customers can expect the same delicious classics found at the restaurant’s other locations.

“Since opening our Poplar Perkins location last year, the community response has been incredible, and the excitement for our made-from-scratch menu items has grown,” Scott Deviney, CEO of Chicken Salad Chick, said a few years ago when the company began expanding in the area. “We’ve been eager to expand into Germantown and are thrilled to open our doors to residents that are sure to be loyal guests for years to come.”
