A Mexican-inspired fast-casual franchise is set to expand with its very first Germantown location.
According to recent permits filed with Develop901, Chipotle Mexican Grill will soon begin construction on a 2,325-square-foot restaurant with seating for up to 40 guests. The new eatery will be located within The Shops of Saddle Creek at 2110 West St, taking over a former Back Yard Burgers space.
Founded in Denver, Colorado in 1993, Chipotle currently operates over 3,000 locations worldwide, including 47 sites in Tennessee and seven in Greater Memphis alone. The upcoming eatery will be the first in Germantown.
Chipotle prides itself on using “reliably real” ingredients, providing a fast-casual dining experience that prioritizes healthier choices. The menu features customizable bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and Mission burritos, all made fresh to order in front of customers.
