A commercial alteration permit was filed on August 30, 2024, for the coffee shop located at 1641 N Germantown Pkwy in Cordova.
An employee from the location told What Now Memphis that the renovations are scheduled to start at the beginning of 2025, though she was uncertain about the duration of the closure.
The 1,890-square-foot Starbucks will undergo approximately $550,000 in renovations, including interior updates such as new lighting, furniture, fixtures, and artwork, along with exterior improvements like updated drive-thru equipment, signage, and outdoor furniture.
Several Starbucks locations in the Memphis area have recently undergone or are slated for renovations, including those in East Memphis, Germantown, and Millington.
The Seattle-based coffee giant is known for its signature coffee beverages and wide array of ready-to-eat snacks, including bagels, croissants, muffins, and cake pops.
