Set to occupy the former Bounty on Broad space at 2519 Broad Ave in Memphis’ Arts District, Buds & Brews first opened its doors in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood in 2022 and is set to open a second location in East Nashville later this month.
The forthcoming Memphis site will be managed by franchisees Reba Sanford, Jeremy Rodgers, and William Rodgers Sr. In addition to Buds & Brews, Rodgers owns the nearby SALT Bar and Bistro.
“We are excited to bring the Buds & Brews experience to Memphis,” said Michael Solomon, owner and president of Craft Cannabis, the parent company of Buds & Brews. “This dynamic arts community is the perfect location for a new and innovative restaurant and bar concept. We are proud to collaborate with some of the best in the food and beverage industry in order to bring Tennesseans a truly unique culinary adventure.”
Craft Cannabis oversees three distinct brands. Their flagship, Craft Cannabis, offers a range of seed-to-shelf flower grown in Nashville, alongside edibles such as cannabis cookies, gummies, and suckers. Tri-Star Medical specializes in cannabis tinctures, capsules, and topicals, while Sticky Tomato features a full line of cannabis-infused gummies.
At Buds & Brews, guests can expect an elevated experience with a menu featuring themed dishes like “Dude Where’s My Wings,” “Wake & Bake Tacos,” and “Grilled Muncheese,” along with a selection of condiment sauces infused with locally sourced, hemp-derived THC.
The establishment will also boast a craft cocktail menu featuring signature cannabis-infused libations like the “Smoky Margarita” and “Spliff Sangria,” as well as its own line of THC-infused beers, draft beers, New Highs seltzers, and a selection of dessert edibles.
Rodgers told What Now Memphis that they’re expecting a late fall 2024 grand opening. For the latest updates, be sure to follow Buds & Brews on Instagram and Facebook.
