Local entrepreneur and restaurateur Robb Hunter is set to introduce his latest culinary venture, Southern Breakfast Kitchen, to 2990 Kirby Whitten Rd in Bartlett. Hoping to welcome guests by the end of January 2024, Hunter envisions a unique dining experience where classic breakfast dishes are freshly prepared on the grill right in front of patrons. This unique approach incorporates the use of hibachi grill tables inherited from the former tenant, Sekisui.

Hunter, a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of successful establishments across the Memphis metropolitan area, boasts a diverse portfolio including Tavern 64, Burning Desire Cigar Emporium, Robusto, and Havana Mix. Alderman Kevin Quinn shares insights into the forthcoming Southern Breakfast Kitchen, hinting at a distinctive feature—a mimosa bar—and teasing that there are “a few surprises [he] won’t spoil.”

Embodying the spirit of Southern hospitality, the restaurant’s slogan proudly declares, “If it’s Southern, it has to be good!” With its classic cuisine and engaging atmosphere, Southern Breakfast Kitchen is poised to enhance the local dining scene in early 2024.
