A new Chick-fil-A is coming to the Memphis area.
In a recent Facebook update, Dani Pruitt, wife of local franchisee Matt Pruitt, shared that the beloved chicken chain is planning to open on Whitten Rd. While Matt confirmed this news with What Now Memphis, he noted that the exact address is still to be determined.
“We are so grateful for our team of leaders and team members for all the hard work and preparation these past months,” Dani wrote in her post.
Matt currently operates two Chick-fil-A locations in Memphis: one on Summer Ave and another in Terminal B of Memphis International Airport. He also manages the Chick-fil-A at Bethel University in McKenzie.
Celebrated for its hand-breaded chicken sandwiches and exceptional customer service, Chick-fil-A boasts more than 3,000 restaurants across 48 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Canada, with over a dozen already serving the Memphis area.
The Whitten Rd location is expected to open in the fall of 2025. Stay tuned for updates as the project progresses.
