According to FOX13 Memphis, Darrell Horn, CEO of Green Square Wealth Management on Shady Grove Rd, intends to rename and reimagine the restaurant, preserving some of Houston’s original influences while making it “locally-owned and invested in the Memphis community” and its employees.

Horn is currently reaching out to Houston’s parent company, Hillstone Restaurant Group, to negotiate a lease for the space and equipment, though he has not yet been able to make contact.

The reimagined eatery already has a website, and former Houston’s Memphis employees are encouraged to email Darrell Horn at [email protected] to discuss continued employment.

Horn hopes to reopen Houston’s in January.
