The relocation announcement was made on Instagram, with the duo expressing their regret for any trouble caused. They stated, “We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but we will be temporarily closing starting Jan.8th to seek some solutions with our building. Be sure to come in and see us now through Sunday and stay tuned on social for re-opening updates!”

Established in February 2020, the Mo’Bay franchise opened its first location in Downtown Mobile, Alabama, shortly after founder Jaclyn Bailey Robinson began selling her homemade beignet mixes and syrups online and in local vendors’ shops. After almost four years, Mo’Bay has expanded to eight locations across Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
