Restaurant owner Jamil Al Shafie is working to open Mr. J’s Buffalo Wings at 1105 N. Houston Levee Rd.
Wings are the name of the game, and Jamil Al Shafie isn’t changing that. The former Mister P’s Buffalo Wings sports bar will now be known as Mr. J’s, still featuring wings as the menu favorite.
The site is currently in the process of obtaining permits and undergoing a change in signage. It is located near the corner of Macon View Drive and North Houston Levee Road in the Shops of Woodland Hills, next to La Fiesta Supermarket International and La Fogata Mexican Restaurant.
Just 23 miles east of Memphis and 30 miles west of Stanton, future home of Ford’s Oval City, Cordova is a growing suburb with bright business prospects.
Jamil Al Shafie was not immediately available for comment.
