Panadería y Cafetería Guatemalteca el Mana is coming to 5960 Mt Moriah Rd, taking over the former Cleaning Man Supply space.

Owner Jose Miguel Diego told What Now Memphis that the eatery will be a family-run business, with his wife, Silvia Perez, leading the kitchen.

Silvia will bake an array of Guatemalan goodies, including muffins and conchas (brioche-like sweet bread). The menu will also feature traditional drinks like horchata, coffee, and hot chocolate, as well as breakfast dishes and Guatemalan classics such as hot tamales and rice with black beans.

Renovations on the 1,200-square-foot space are underway, and Jose hopes to welcome guests to Panadería y Cafetería Guatemelteca el Mana in the coming months.
