A new deli is making its way to Memphis.
Getwell Deli & Grill is planning to open at 1297 Getwell Rd, according to recent permits filed with the city. While owner James Callicutt confirmed this news with What Now Memphis, he declined to share specifics about the opening timeline or menu offerings.
However, permits reveal that the deli will feature “cold sub sandwiches,” and patrons can likely expect classic deli staples such as freshly prepared salads, hearty soups, and made-to-order sides.
The deli’s Google Business page indicates that it will operate Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and close on Sundays. It looks like the building previously housed a Getwell Grocery & Deli, though it’s unclear if the new establishment is connected to the former business.
