Earlier this year, What Now Memphis reported that a mobile coffee shop would be opening its first brick-and-mortar cafe. Now, more details have been revealed.
According to a social media update from owner Kristen Drake, Cafe 127 will be located at 2130 W Poplar Ave, Suite 107 in Collierville, within the same retail center as Huey’s, Fleet Feet, Poplar Wine & Spirits, and Modern Muse Salon.
Cafe 127 has been traveling through Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida since 2023, serving up iced mochas, maple cinnamon lattes, blueberry muffins, yogurt parfaits, and more.
In addition to its range of coffee and pastries, the upcoming cafe will feature a kids’ play area. Renovations have been underway for several months, and Drake is currently hiring for all positions.
While an official launch date has not yet been announced, Drake recently shared that Cafe 127 is “SO close” to opening its doors.
“We will post our soft launch date aaaaany day now, so tag along on this journey with us and be one of the first ones in,” she said. “It’ll be worth it 🩷”
