A new restaurant is coming to the Cordova Ridge Shopping Center. According to recent permits filed with Develop901, Gyro & Spices will soon open at 1204 N Houston Levee Rd, Suite 110, taking over the former site of Wing World.
The 2,415-square-foot space will accommodate up to 50 occupants. Chef and owner Muhammad Khan confirmed this development with What Now Memphis, and a spokesperson for Gyro & Spices said that the menu is in the process of being finalized.
While details about the eatery are scarce for now, patrons can expect a variety of gyros and other Greek fare, including dishes like tzatziki, kleftiko, and stuffed grape leaves. Additionally, the restaurant’s LLC, Gyro & Masala, suggests a potential fusion of Greek and Indian cuisine.
Gyro & Spices was initially slated to open in August 2024 but the timeline has been pushed back, and a new launch date has not yet been set.
