A new diner is coming to Senatobia.
The SawMill Diner will soon take over the former Pap’s Diner space at 448 Old Memphis Oxford Rd, according to multiple Facebook posts from the eatery.
Owner Tommie Luther confirmed this news with What Now Memphis but said that it is still too early to share details and suggested checking back later.
While specifics about the diner remain limited, Luther recently took to Facebook to ask, “If there is one thing you hope to see [on the menu,] what would it be?” The post sparked more than 60 comments, with suggestions ranging from gizzards, gravy, burgers, and chocolate pie to salads and gluten- or dairy-free options.
While the team is working hard to launch the eatery, an opening date has not yet been set. Stay tuned for updates as the SawMill Diner prepares to make its mark in Senatobia.
