A new shawarma spot is coming to Memphis.
According to a recent Commercial Alteration Permit, Shawarma to Go will soon open at 4000 Summer Ave, Suite 102. The 1,367-square-foot suite is currently undergoing renovations estimated at $800,000 and will provide seating for up to 33 patrons.
While details about the menu are limited, guests can expect a variety of shawarmas and other Middle Eastern options at Shawarma to Go.
Owner Karim Obaid confirmed this development with What Now Memphis, noting that more information will be available next week. Obaid mentioned that the fast-casual eatery is set to celebrate its grand opening in about two months.
