A local soul food eatery is gearing up for an exciting expansion.
Willie Mae’s Southern Soul Cooking is moving from the Citgo at 630 N Highland St to 5973 Knight Arnold Rd in Oakhaven, taking over the former site of JusWings. Chef and Owner Willie Mae Stevens told What Now Memphis that she hopes to welcome guests to the new restaurant by the end of May 2024.
True to its name, Willie Mae’s flagship eatery has tickled patrons with its hole-in-the-wall charm and authentic Southern flavors since 2017. Now, Chef Stevens is thrilled to take her business to the next level with her forthcoming full-service restaurant.
