According to The Daily Memphian, the drive-thru coffee chain is opening five freestanding locations across Greater Memphis, and it looks like even more are in the works.
Franchisees Ryan Scoggin, Stan Buncher, and Fischer Van Handel of Pyramid Coffee recently finalized contracts with Cordova-based Gill Properties, Inc. for two new sites: 2555 Goodman Rd W in Horn Lake and at Southaven’s Shops of DeSoto Center on Church Rd W.
Gill Properties brokers Barry Maynard, Frank Dyer III, and Emily Vanasek are handling all of Scooter’s new site deals. “Pyramid Coffee’s Scooter’s is coming to Horn Lake, MS,” the real estate agency shared in a Facebook update. “We wish you many years of success in the Scooter’s Coffee Brand.”
Additionally, a contract for a location at 1732 S Highland Ave in Jackson may be signed later this year.
Scoggin, Buncher, and Van Handel already operate several Scooter’s locations in the region, including two recently opened spots in Covington and Millington.
Meanwhile, Chase Hudson, another local franchisee, is opening new Scooter’s sites in Bartlett, Olive Branch, and Hickory Hill. A corporate-owned location is also in the works in Arlington.
With over 800 locations across the country, the national coffee chain offers a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, grab-and-go breakfast options, teas, smoothies, and seasonal specialties.
