A popular Southaven pizzeria is gearing up for an expansion.
Italia Pizza Café will soon open its second location at 9192 Hacks Cross Rd, Suite 500 in Olive Branch. Owner Jose Morales told What Now Memphis that this new spot will focus more on to-go orders, though diners are welcome to enjoy their meals in-house as well.
Famous for its Big Mama Pizza—a 28-inch pie, the largest in Desoto County—the eatery hosts the ‘Big Mama Challenge,’ where two people must finish the entire ten-pound pizza in under 30 minutes to win it free and have their picture displayed on the wall.
In addition to its range of any-style pies, Italia Pizza Café serves a variety of pasta dishes, salads, subs, stuffed bell peppers, calzones, cannolis, and more. Morales mentioned that the new location will feature the same menu as the original.
