Authentic Italian gelato shop Zio Matto Gelato is preparing to open a new location at 545 S Main St, presumably situated inside The Central Station Memphis Hotel. Though he was unable to reveal specific details at this time, owner Matteo Servente did confirm the forthcoming expansion.

Originally from Torino, Italy, Servente has long harbored the dream of sharing his rich heritage with others by bringing artisanal gelato to Memphis. With over thirty thriving locations in Memphis and Nashville, it’s safe to say that his dream has turned into a remarkable reality.

While details about the new location remain under wraps, customers can look forward to the same frozen favorites that have become synonymous with Zio Matto. Anticipate traditional Italian flavors like pistachio, hazelnut, and chocolate, as well as contemporary creations such as wild strawberry and blueberry.
