The company’s second location will move into the StoneCreek Centre Shopping Mall in mid-Summer 2023, according to Commercial Appeal. Owner Mary Claire White opened the ice cream and bubble tea store in 2021, and it quickly became a popular sweet treat destination. White, who also owns the Falling into Place gift shop, hopes to eventually several of these concepts, saying now is the perfect opportunity, with other similar businesses coming to the area.

The shopping center will be a perfect location for the company’s expansion, considering there are very few ice cream and boba shops nearby. Sugar Ghost will have to compete with Gracie Bleu Frozen Yogurt and a handful of fast-food options, such as Wendy’s and Winpy’s Burgers and Fries. Customers can expect the same whimsical look and feel as the original location at 2615 Broad Ave.

When the new location opens in a couple of months, customers can expect a variety of ice cream options, as well as shakes, ice cream sandwiches, and bubble tea. Sugar Ghost recently released their new summer menu specials, which include pineapple orange guava green tea, strawberry milk & cookies with boba, dirty brown sugar milk tea, blue Hawaiian milk tea, a Nutella shake, muddy’s Prozac chocolate cake shake, and more.
