The company’s second location will be found in the park’s First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center, according to the Daily Memphian. Unlike the Highland location, this 950-square-foot site will not feature a community pottery studio but will have space for indoor and outdoor seating. Co-owners Christopher Galbreath and Micah Dempsey hope to open this location in early Fall 2023. The expansion was made possible after six individuals invested in the company.

“We definitely have a lifelong relationship with the park,” Galbreath said in a release. “We had a mutual acquaintance who knew the space has been vacant (within the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center) for a while.(Shelby Farms Park) were looking for the right tenant, and, so, I reached out and had a conversation. This new shop is also special to us because it is fully funded by investors.”

While this location will be much smaller than its original, it will still offer the same ambiance and customer experience. Nearby customers will be able to place a mobile order from anywhere in the park and pick up their purchases at the visitor’s center. The menu will be the same as the original.

This is just the first of many for Belltower, which started in 2017 after successful pop-ups. The company plans to open three more locations in Memphis, followed by a more significant expansion throughout the region within a three-hour radius of Memphis, according to the Daily Memphian. Owners hope to expand the businesses to cities with a college or university.

“We’re excited to be able to better serve our visitors by expanding food and beverage options in the park through our new partnership,” Shelby Farms Park Conversancy CEO Jen Andrews tells the Daily Memphian.
