Chicken Salad Chick is preparing to open its sixth Memphis-area location and its 23rd in the state.
A recent permit filed with Develop901 reveals that the fast-casual chicken salad chain is preparing for an upfit at 8669 U.S. Hwy 51 N in Millington. Once complete, the new eatery will join existing Chicken Salad Chick locations in Germantown, Poplar Perkins, Olive Branch, Wolfchase, and most recently, Arlington.
Though representatives for the franchise have not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Memphis, President and CEO Scott Deviney last year expressed gratitude for the warm reception in Memphis neighborhoods, stating, “Thank you, Memphis, for being a part of our Chicken Salad Chick family. We look forward to creating more cherished memories together.”
With over 200 restaurants nationwide, Chicken Salad Chick is celebrated for its wide variety of chicken salad flavors, from the spicy ‘Jalapeño Holly’ to the traditional ‘Classic Carol.’ In addition to its diverse chicken salad options, the eatery offers pimento cheese, salads, soups, sides, and sandwiches.
