City Silo Table + Pantry is set to make a strategic East Memphis move, trading out its current Sanderlin Ave digs for a more expansive space just a short stroll away. Co-owners Scott and Rebekah Tashie announced the upcoming move in a press release, sharing that the restaurant will relocate to 580 S Mendenhall Rd, occupying the former site of McAlister’s Deli.

In the announcement, Tashie emphasized that the decision to relocate stems from the restaurant’s remarkable growth, both in terms of physical space and its capacity to enhance customer service. He highlighted the advantages the move will bring, including an increase in square footage, expanded kitchen capabilities, and exciting benefits for their devoted East Memphis clientele.

City Silo has gained recognition for its diverse menu featuring vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, including burritos, hearty bowls, sandwiches, breakfast items served all day, small plates, salads, smoothies, açaí bowls, tacos, and burgers. The health-conscious eatery also caters to younger diners with a kids’ menu and offers ready-to-go foods, sides, juices, wellness elixirs, health shots, kombucha cocktails, and a selection of alcoholic beverages.

Currently operating in three locations—East Memphis, Germantown, and Little Rock—the forthcoming Mendenhall establishment promises more than just a change of address. It will boast increased seating, a spacious temperature-controlled outdoor area, and an expanded kitchen space. Despite the move, City Silo’s original East Memphis location, opened in 2017, will continue to serve customers until the new Mendenhall restaurant opens its doors this summer.
