A new ground-up Chipotle restaurant is headed to 3341 Poplar Ave, as revealed by a recent Special Use Permit filed within the city’s website. Boasting over 3,000 locations nationwide, the popular fast-casual Tex-Mex chain continues its rapid expansion in the Memphis metropolitan area, having introduced several sites just last year. While Memphis Area Manager Scott Slocum declined to provide details on this latest venture, he did confirm the development, mentioning that the project is still in its early stages and a couple of years away from opening.

The forthcoming establishment is set to be a one-story structure spanning 2,325 square feet. The facility will feature practical amenities such as 17 parking spaces, a full-access driveway, drive aisles, and a convenient Chipotlane drive-through/pick-up window. Additionally, patrons can enjoy the outdoors in a 688-square-foot outdoor patio equipped with seating and bicycle racks.
