Under the careful guidance of the Downtown Memphis Commission (DMC), the Downtown Mobility Authority, and the City of Memphis, 100 North Main is currently undergoing an ambitious redevelopment. After an extensive Request for Proposal process, the building’s Development Partners—led by Kevin Woods, Billy Orgel, Jay Lindy, Adam Slovis, and Michael McLaughlin—emerged victorious with their visionary plan.

With an astonishing development budget of $267,818,004, the comprehensive renovation will include 180-210 apartments, a full-service hotel, a 60,000 square foot city office space, a 352-space parking structure, and retail amenities. Furthermore, the rooftop restaurant is set for restoration and is presently awaiting a tenant. While other proposals alluded to a rotating restaurant feature reminiscent of the building’s early days, the winning plan will not incorporate this nostalgic element.

Senior Vice President of the DMC Brett Roler expressed his enthusiasm for the concept, highlighting its unparalleled view of the city: “The rooftop of this building has the very best view in all of Memphis, in my humble opinion. It’s so very exciting to think of this building coming back to life with people and activity!”

As the Downtown Memphis skyline evolves, this 100 North Main redevelopment promises to transform the building into a lively, round-the-clock destination. Despite uncertainties, Memphians can anticipate a restaurant that’s as unique and iconic as the building itself. Stay tuned for updates as this transformative project unfolds over the next three years.
