Nothing Bundt Cakes has filed permits to renovate the 2,102-square-foot space at 8570 U.S. Hwy 51 in Millington, near Huey’s.

Longtime local franchisee Amy Lupo confirmed this development with What Now Memphis, sharing that she will collaborate with Scott Speed on the venture.

With over 600 locations across 40 states and Canada, Nothing Bundt Cakes is celebrated for its contemporary take on the classic bundt cake, offering a variety of flavors and sizes. The franchise currently operates local locations in East Memphis, Cordova, Olive Branch, and Collierville, as well as nearby sites in Jonesboro and Oxford.

Lupo is no stranger to bringing innovative concepts to Memphis. In addition to launching the city’s first Nothing Bundt Cakes location a decade ago, she recently opened Memphis’ inaugural Playa Bowls superfruit shop and has two more locations in the works.

Lupo hopes to open the new Nothing Bundt Cakes location this fall, just in time for Thanksgiving.
