A second Memphis Cookie Company location is set to open at 6075 Winchester Rd inside the newly-renovated Hickory Ridge Towne Centre food court (formerly Hickory Ridge Mall), as announced by owner Megan Mottley. While Mottley initially aimed for an October 2023 opening date, she is now anticipating a 2024 launch. Once operational, the new cookie shop will complement the existing Downtown Memphis location.
Founded in 2016 as Goodness Gracious Cookies with the initial goal of fundraising for her daughter’s mission trip to Japan, Mottley’s enterprise experienced immediate success and has since transformed into the flourishing Memphis Cookie Company. Offering nationwide shipping and local delivery, the bakery delights customers all over the country with its delectable creations.
Mottley’s journey in the baking industry was profoundly shaped by her southern grandmothers, who skillfully crafted desserts from scratch during her formative years.
