According to Memphis Business Journal, Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken is actively scouting new locations throughout Memphis for expansion. Currently, this North Carolina-based southern-style biscuit and chicken chain has a single location in Saddle Creek, as well as another branch in Nashville.
In addition to its two Tennessee establishments, Rise boasts 22 outlets spread across eight states and more coming soon to Texas and Florida. Rise Vice President Spencer Burgon has also recently partnered with Rock N’ Roll Sushi and is on the lookout for franchisees to establish new rock ‘n’ roll-themed sushi locations throughout Memphis.
Rise’s menu features a variety of chicken and biscuit options, such as the Nashville hot sandwich and a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich. Customers can customize their sandwiches with choices like pork sausage, country ham, or veggie ‘sausage.’ Additionally, the eatery offers ‘Best Dang Boxes,’ signature sides, and a selection of ‘Sweet Stuff.’
