According to The Memphis Business Journal, Mande Dibi is set to stand out by incorporating West African influences into its barbecue menu. Notably, the offerings will exclude pork, featuring a selection of beef, lamb, chicken, and potentially turkey.

In addition to these choices, Tounkara plans to introduce sausages crafted with a unique blend of liver, heart, kidney, and intestine, mixed with meat and fat. The intestines will serve as the casing for these distinctive sausages. Other menu items include jerk chicken, the Mande Burger, and West African-style ribs.

Tounkara’s impressive culinary background, including roles as the Former Chef de Cuisine at Caesar’s Entertainment and the former Assistant Executive Chef at Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, adds a promising dimension to this new venture.

Patrons can anticipate a unique barbecue experience at Mande Dibi, where the rich flavors of West African culinary traditions blend seamlessly with a diverse selection of meats.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article listed the restaurant’s name as Dibi Douma BBQ. The correct name for the restaurant is Mande Dibi.
