Abbi Nichols, the brain behind Abbikadabbi’s Baking Co., is on the verge of realizing a dream with the opening of her first brick-and-mortar storefront in Southaven. While an exact location has yet to be revealed, the bakery is slated to open its doors in spring 2024.
Molded by memories made in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother, Nichols has been baking since childhood. Abbikadabbi’s specializes in a delightful array of sweet treats, offering vintage-inspired cakes, intricately designed custom cookies, wedding cakes, seasonal cupcakes, Taylor Swift-inspired creations, pies, and more.
Founded in 2019, the bakery has established its presence with an online storefront, thriving on Facebook and Instagram. A recent Ole Miss graduate with a BBA in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship, Nichols is ready to elevate her passion for baking to new heights with a physical storefront.
Her dedication to both taste and aesthetics shines through as she reflects on her entrepreneurial journey, which began when she was just fifteen: “I was tired of eating decorated sugar cookies that looked cute but had no taste. My mission was to develop a sugar cookie that not only looked great but tasted great as well!”
As the brick-and-mortar establishment prepares to open its doors, Abbi Nichols is poised to enchant local patrons with her irresistible creations. With the arrival of spring, Southaven eagerly anticipates a new epicenter for baked delights, courtesy of Abbikadabbi’s Baking Co.
