According to The Daily Memphian, Crave Sweets Bake Shop owner Lana Hickey is on the hunt for a larger space in Southaven’s mixed-use district. She’s also considering Downtown Franklin, as she’s noticed a lack of gourmet bakeries in that area.
Additionally, Crave is expanding its operations to meet rising demand through larger-scale orders and partnerships. Recently, the bakery teamed up with its Germantown neighbor, Moondance Grill, to offer Crave cheesecakes as a dessert option on the restaurant’s menu.
Specializing in a diverse range of sweets including cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and pastries, Crave’s revenue is divided with 50% coming from wedding cakes, 25% from in-store retail items, and the remaining 25% from birthday cakes.
Keep an eye out for updates as Crave Sweets Bake Shop narrows down the location for its eagerly anticipated third bakery.
