HighP Hour Wellness and Feast & Graze, two thriving ventures with roots in holistic wellness and luxury charcuterie, are set to unite under one roof, giving life to the Feast and Graze x HighP Hour Wellness storefront. Nestled at 109 S Highland St Suite 103 in the Poplar Plaza shopping center, this collaboration is the brainchild of second cousins Sierra ‘SieKey’ Rhodes and Cristina McCarter.
Hoping to welcome guests in March 2024, the dynamic duo recently surpassed their Kickstarter goal of $10,000, with an overwhelming show of support from 75 backers who pledged $15,684. In October 2023, McCarter announced that she would not renew her S Main St lease, sharing plans to open a storefront elsewhere in 2024. Thanks to fundraising, that new location has now come to fruition.
The innovative storefront is poised to offer a unique blend of holistic wellness and gourmet delights. Envision a space where herbs, raw cold-pressed juices, and supplements coexist harmoniously with a build-your-own charcuterie bar—”think Chipotle but cheese & charcuterie,” describes Rhodes. Beyond these offerings, the establishment will boast a curated retail section featuring charcuterie supplies, wood boards, pantry items, local artisan jams, honey, holiday specialties, and even wine by the bottle.
Deeply immersed in the world of natural medicine and holistic practices, SieKey Rhodes envisions her future as a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner. Alongside her wellness pursuits, she serves as a healthcare IT analyst and is the co-founder of Studio Liv, Memphis’ premier black- and woman-owned adult dance studio. On the culinary front, Cristina McCarter, a “foodie turned foodpreneur,” began her entrepreneurial journey as a food blogger. Her online escapades soon evolved into Feast & Graze—a luxury charcuterie shop specializing in grazing boxes, platters, and tables. Her culinary prowess has earned her features in prestigious publications such as The New York Times and Forbes.
With Rhodes’ astute business acumen and McCarter’s culinary expertise, the forthcoming storefront is destined for success in Memphis’ historic Poplar Plaza.
