A small Mediterranean restaurant chain will soon open its first site in the state.

Hummus Republic is coming to 750 N Germantown Pkwy, Suite 105 in Cordova. The 1,400-square-foot eatery, which has undergone roughly $447,567 in renovations, will seat up to 36 patrons.

Known for its healthy, fresh, and customizable menu, Hummus Republic offers a range of build-your-own options, including bowls, wraps, and pitas, as well as chicken dishes, Greek sandwiches, falafel burgers, and various Mediterranean-inspired sides.

The California-based eatery was founded in 2012 and currently operates 27 locations across 10 states, with a 100% increase in growth over the past three years.

Franchisee Keyur Patel whose cousin is launching a fast-casual teriyaki restaurant just a few doors down—told What Now Memphis that Hummus Republic is expected to open in late October 2024, though plans are subject to change.
