Tienda La Esperanza Guatemala, a new Guatemalan grocery store, is set to open its doors at 3629 Hickory Hill Rd in Memphis. Owner Eleazar Tomas Reynoso told What Now Memphis that he hopes to welcome guests starting April 5, 2024.
Though Reynoso has been tight-lipped about specific offerings, the store is poised to feature a diverse selection of international and Guatemalan items, with the possibility of offering some freshly prepared, ready-to-eat foods. Customers can look forward to a variety of Goya products, alongside staples like rice and beans, as well as an assortment of international candies and beverages.
While details about this new venture remain limited, locals will soon have the opportunity to explore the flavors of Guatemala at Tienda La Esperanza Guatemala. With its diverse selection and promise of authentic products, the grocery store is poised to become a vibrant addition to the Memphis area.
