Washburn’s newest restaurant site is still in the early stages of planning and development at the corner of E. Shelby Dr. and Elvis Presley Blvd. in Whitehaven, adjacent to the Southland Mall and approximately one mile from Whitehaven Plaza.

Whitehaven is a growing community just south of Memphis, home to Nike, Elvis Presley’s Graceland, Southbrook Town Center, and David Carnes Park, the first Healthy Place project funded by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation.

Continuing plans are in the works to revitalize the area under a long-term vision known as Memphis 3.0.

“Golden fried since 1965,” Guthrie’s Chicken is considered to be the pioneer in featuring fried chicken fingers, and it does it the Guthrie Way: Fresh, hot, fast and delicious! Today, the famous chicken fingers are accompanied by fries, coleslaw, toast and signature sauce served in a box, a bucket, a snack, a family meal, or in sandwich form.
